A July Poconos rafting trip in the beautiful 80-degree weather, what more can you ask for?!

If you have never been Whitewater Rafting, this is your shot to see what it is all about.  You will be on the enjoyable Lehigh River in beautiful Jim Thorpe, PA.  We have chose a "Dam Release" day meaning that the water is sure to be "Whitewater" and not a float trip as often occurs in the summer months.  This is when the upstream dam water is slowly released in to the river making the water slightly higher and more fun with less obstacles.  This is approximately 5-hour rafting trip with Lunch on the River and a BBQ after we are done!

The water is looking GREAT this summer. Expect an exciting, fun day!

IS THIS TRIP SAFE IF I HAVE NEVER RAFTED BEFORE? This river offers class III rapids and a VERY enjoyable day on the river.  The trip is fully guided, so you are in safe hands.  It is not a very rough and unsafe rafting trip, but you surely will be exilerated through the rapids!  You will have about 30 minutes of simple instruction before getting on the river.  Many people that raft this river have never rafted before, but the river is perfect if you have as well!
Wet suits may be required and will be available day of the trip, weather will dictate.

:: What to Expect ::

Expect to have fun!!  You will raft, swim, have water fights, and relax as you enjoy the sights of the beautiful Lehigh River Gorge & Valley.  Half-Way through the trip, the group stops for lunch, to relax, sun-bath, swim, chat, and more.  After the trip is over, everyone goes back to the center where you can dry off, change into new clothes, and enjoy a good 'ole fashion BBQ (included in your price).  Relax with a couple ice-cold brews on the bus ride home!
